Thomas J. Bogenschütz is co-founder and CEO of MEDIRA. He has more than 30 years of experience in the medical technology industry. Previously, among others he worked as CEO for JOTEC GmbH for more than a decade. Before MEDIRA, Mr. Bogenschütz was Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing EMEA and General Manager JOTEC at CryoLife Inc.. Mr. Bogenschütz has a diploma in industrial engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen.

Katharina Doster is Head of Finance, Human Resources and IT. She has more than a decade of experience in the medical device industry and 13 years in business administration. Before MEDIRA, Katharina Doster held various positions, most recently as Director for Strategy & Organization at JOTEC GmbH. Ms. Doster has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences.

Dr. Giuseppe Pisani is Head of Development at MEDIRA. He has more than 16 years of experience in the field of structural heart disease. Before joining MEDIRA, Dr. Pisani at LivaNova PLC, Strait Access Technologies in the field of structural heart disease as a development engineer and consultant. Most recently, he was Head of the Prosthesis Development Group at Biotronik. Dr. Pisani holds a Master's degree in Biomechanical Engineering and a PhD in Biomechanics and Bioengineering from the Polytecnico di Torino, where he also served as a lecturer for the Master's course in Experimental Biodynamics and Biomechanics.

Dr. Kerstin Ragnitz is Head of Clinical Affairs. She has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior joining MEDIRA Dr. Ragnitz held various positions in Development, Product Management, Sales and Marketing at JOTEC GmbH and most recently was Senior Director Marketing EMEA at CryoLife. Dr. Ragnitz has a Diploma in technical biology and a PhD in natural sciences from the University of Stuttgart.

Steffen Rauschenberger is Head of Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs at MEDIRA. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the field of implantable non-active medical devices. Previously, Mr. Rauschenberger was R&D Project Manager at JOTEC GmbH before taking over as Head of Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs there. Immediately before joining MEDIRA, he worked as a project consultant for Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Mr. Rauschenberger holds a Diploma in General and Analytical Chemistry from Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences.

Jan Ulmer is Head of Marketing and Sales. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of medical implants. Before MEDIRA, Mr. Ulmer held various positions in Development, Sales and Marketing at JOTEC GmbH and most recently was Sales Manager for the German-speaking countries at Cryolife. Mr. Ulmer has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and a Master of Business Administration in Medical Devices and Health Economics from Furtwangen University.
